Product Info and Care

General information

Each of our products is handcrafted with a lot of care, and we produce them in small batches. We use natural as well as azo-free dyes on our fabrics, and strive to minimize wastage in our production. The nature of handcrafted products is such that very often, we cannot generate replicas or guarantee hue uniformity even within the same batch. That is the beauty of handmade. Such ‘imprecisions’ in color or weave are traits of handmade textiles, which make them unique - unique to you.

Note that some dyes, especially natural dyes, will bleed the first couple of washes. Please wash them separately.

Care

All scarves and bandanas - Dry cleaning is recommended. However, all of our scarves can be hand-washed separately with a mild pH-neutral detergent or a silk-specific detergent (if product is silk) in cold water. Hang in shade to air dry. Iron if needed, and on reverse with the appropriate heat setting.

Do not machine wash or soak any scarf.

Bags - Cork part of the bags/wallets can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Spot clean on areas where there is fabric.

Woolen throws, shawls and scarvesDry cleaning is the best way to have them cleaned. Our woolen products can be washed by hand in cold water with wool-specific pH-neutral detergent. Do not soak for long periods of time. Do not wring. Press the water out of the fabric gently. For some useful guidelines on washing your woolens, read this.

Table linens - Machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Hang in shade to dry. Iron if needed, on warm setting.
